BLM Today and Tomorrow Print

It’s really difficult listing out and putting into words all the ways I face racism or the results of systemic racism every day because it is unfortunately apart of and engrained in nearly everything I do. That’s why it has always been so frustrating when friends and others ask “why do you always make this about race”. It’s because I live in a world and society that says every chance it gets that my blackness is other, is dangerous, and is not good enough. That’s why I hope y’all take the energy you have today and continue the conversation tomorrow. Even if you forget about this fight next week, we will still face the issues every single day until things change.
